The following picture shows some of the people who led the dedication ceremony at the camp. From left - right, they are (unknown), Dr. Jim Guest, (unknown), and Harvey Wales. Harvey Wales donated the land to the United Church for use as a children's summer camp. If you recognize anyone who is unidentified in any of these pictures, please send me an email to let me know (dwhiting@mmm.com). Note you can click on any picture to download a large version.

In the above picture, the bulletin that they are reading has the following on the front cover:

OFFICIAL OPENING AND DEDICATION
of
CAMP KEE MO KEE
by
MIDDLESEX PRESBYTERY OF UNITED CHURCH
SUNDAY, JULY 31, 1960

On the back of the bulletin is the dedication that was read by the Chair of Middlesex Presbytery. It reads "In the name of Middlesex Presbytery of the United Church of Canada, I accept this camp as a sacred trust and pledge that the Presbytery will treasure it with reverence and gratitude. In the faith of Jesus Christ and in the name of Middlesex Presbytery, I dedicate this land and these buildings to the glory of God, and so set them apart for the purpose for which they have been designated. In the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen."

The above picture shows many of the people who attended the official opening. Identified in this picture are Howard Trott and family (center, near front); and Jim McCracken and family (right side, near front).
